You know my grandmother bought a fridge from the man who started Standard TV and Appliance while he was selling out of his garage. Since she helped make Standard TV and Appliance what it is today, I think I deserve better treatment. That is, if being a regular customer just isn't enough. To cut out all the disgusting detail, Horrible Heather is telling me since we bought a floor model (reduced prices slightly at usually a few scratches). Floor model? No problem. Ive bought them before. Anyway. It was brought here broken, but they don't care. Since its a floor model, it was sold AS IS. I never expected AS IS to include BROKEN PIECE OF CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP. Who buys something AS IS assuming that it might already be broken and you are STUCK with it. I called viking and told them how this place was representing them. That lady is going to make some calls and get back to me tomorrow. Wont hold my breath. I would rather put that thing on the street for free than have anything to do with a viking product again. Definitely never shopping at Standard TV and Appliance again.
I asked Horrible Heather if Customer Satisfaction was their goal, or fixing the piece of crap. She said fixing it. I asked her if she bought this fridge, would it have sat in her house this long? She refused to answer my question. Well, KATU channel 2 said that they are interested in the details. Ill call the BBB. I wonder if I could post something to Consumer Reports. I mean, that is where I confirmed that the fridge wasn't a bad model to buy.
